The Wonder Within
Shrink down small, take a deep breath and step inside the most extraordinary place you will ever explore: your own body. Beneath your skin, a heart is drumming, lungs are rising and falling, bones are holding you tall and a busy brain is sending messages faster than you can blink. Every second of every day, your body is quietly working wonders.
This unit weaves science together with mathematics, creative writing, art, language and gentle wellbeing. Along the way, children will build an interactive organ model, investigate the skeleton, construct a bone block, explore how breathing works, test their reaction times, study Leonardo da Vinci’s ideas about body proportions and create a watercolour self-portrait. They’ll also learn to describe their feelings, practise speaking like a doctor and celebrate the things that make them uniquely themselves.
The Secret Garden
Step through the hidden door and into the world of The Secret Garden, where forgotten places awaken, friendships grow and the arrival of spring brings new life to the garden.
Inspired by Frances Hodgson Burnett’s much-loved story, this unit weaves literature together with nature, science, mathematics, geography, art and creative writing. Children will meet the characters, investigate the changing seasons, explore the science happening within a garden and discover the plants and animals that make it their home. Through hands-on activities, outdoor observations, creative challenges and gentle nature study, children are invited to read, notice, imagine, investigate and create as they bring their own secret garden to life.
A Slice of Italy
Step into the colourful world of Italy, where gondolas glide through winding canals, volcanoes rise above ancient cities, snowy mountains meet sparkling coastlines, and the smell of fresh pasta drifts from bustling kitchens.
In this unit, your child will journey across Italy to explore its landscapes, landmarks, language, food, art and everyday culture. Through hands-on science, practical mathematics, creative writing, research, art and engineering, children are invited to measure, investigate, design, cook, imagine and discover what makes Italy such a fascinating country.
A Worm's Life
Step beneath the soil and discover the hidden world of earthworms, where winding tunnels, decaying leaves and tiny underground recyclers help gardens thrive. In this unit, your child will explore how earthworms move, breathe, find food, respond to their surroundings and perform an important role within healthy soil ecosystems.
Through hands-on investigations, outdoor observations, creative challenges and gentle nature study, children are invited to dig, discover, experiment, design and uncover the surprising life beneath their feet.
Simply Medieval
Step back into the Middle Ages, a fascinating time of towering castles, bustling markets, skilled craftspeople, brave outlaws and beautifully decorated manuscripts.
In this unit, your child will choose a medieval character and follow their story while exploring how people lived, worked and played. They will investigate the medieval social pyramid, design settlements and castles, trade at the marketplace, experiment with a working catapult, create heraldry, write with a feather quill and discover famous stories such as Robin Hood. Through history, engineering, mathematics, storytelling, art and imaginative play, children will uncover what everyday life may have been like during this extraordinary period.
Charlotte's Web
Step inside Zuckerman’s barn, where animals whisper after dark, a small pig discovers the meaning of friendship and a clever spider proves that words can change a life. Inspired by E. B. White’s beloved story, Charlotte’s Web invites children to explore storytelling, science, mathematics, engineering, research and art. Along the way, children will discover how an orb-weaver constructs its web, investigate the anatomy that allows a spider to produce different kinds of silk, design and test their own bug catcher, explore symmetry, plan a new pigpen for Wilbur, hunt for remarkable words with Templeton, create a barnyard newspaper, write and perform an original adventure and reflect on the choices that make someone a true friend.
Under the Canopy
Step beneath the canopy and into a world of towering trees, ancient ferns, tangled vines and creatures hidden among the leaves. From the sunlit treetops to the damp forest floor, every layer of the rainforest is alive with remarkable plants, animals and connections waiting to be discovered. In this unit, your child will journey through the layers of the rainforest, design a creature adapted for canopy life, investigate how buttress roots support enormous trees and discover what happens when a fallen giant opens a gap in the forest above. Inspired by Roald Dahl’s beloved story, Charlie & Dahl invites children to explore storytelling, science, mathematics, engineering, and art.
The Vanishing Wild
Step into the remarkable world of extinct and endangered animals, where every creature has a story to tell and every species plays an important role in our natural world.
In this unit, your child will uncover the mystery of the Thylacine, discover why animals become threatened or extinct, explore ecosystems, investigate camouflage, and consider how people can help protect wildlife. Through hands-on science, meaningful maths, research, art, creative thinking, and real conservation action, children will discover that even small actions can make a difference.
Beatrix and Peter
Step into the charming world of The Tale of Peter Rabbit, where garden gates lead to adventure, ordinary animals become unforgettable characters, and the smallest details can inspire wonderful stories. Inspired by Beatrix Potter’s beloved tale, this unit invites children to explore the natural world through storytelling, science, observation, art and imaginative play.
Along the way, children will create an original animal character, investigate the adaptations that help rabbits survive, explore the plants growing in Mr McGregor’s garden, follow clues, solve practical maths challenges and discover how Beatrix Potter’s curiosity helped her become an author, illustrator, naturalist and conservationist.
Into the Deep

In this unit, your child will journey through the five ocean layers, uncover the incredible adaptations that help deep-sea animals survive, investigate the crushing force of water pressure, and become an ocean explorer discovering creatures never seen before. Bob the Railway Dog
Climb aboard for an unforgettable journey across Australia! Inspired by the true story of Bob the Railway Dog, this unit invites children to travel through Australia's remarkable landscapes, uncover fascinating history, meet incredible wildlife, and discover the people and places that make our country so unique. Through hands-on investigations, creative challenges, mapping, storytelling, scientific discovery, and imaginative play, children are encouraged to explore Australia with curiosity, creativity, and wonder.
A World of Myths and Legends
Step into the magical world of myths and legends, where dragons soar through the skies, unicorns wander enchanted forests, and ancient stories have been shared for generations.
